Death is inevitable in life. The human condition and natural environment are intertwined and connected through this process. Through the process of death there is beauty to be found and life can be reborn and blossom. Connected as we are when the environment is damaged humans will not escape unharmed. My artwork is a contemporary context of collection that explores the ecological ring of natural disaster inspired by the 2019-2020 Australian bush fire season. We are all connected and belong to the same soil. The heart organ and blood vessels run through the environment to create the connection between life.
