The video is called “Red River” because of my birthmark which reminds me of a river which the way the birthmark flows reminds me of a river. The mark begins melting to symbolise insecurity and wanting to “rub it off like pencil on paper”. However a second after the birthmark begins melting, it reverses and forms it’s shape again symbolising growth and healing. After it reverses to its original shape, parts of the arm begin getting erased as a symbol of forgetting the insecurities.
