Perception is aimed at evoking emotions through sensory elements. Visualizing clips of an empty, dark park whilst auditorily hearing a park full of children playing evokes an overload of emotions. Perception represents the changing of time. Perception is filmed in first perspective of my experience as each scene fades into another, it is as though I am blinking through the experiences at the park and showing the changing of time. Perception creates a visual effect of a lonely, lifeless park but the ears hear the busyness of happy children – ultimately manipulating the perspective of the environment and provoking new kinds of emotions.
