A Flower’s Strength uses forms from nature to explore women’s strength in contemporary society. My artwork provides a glimpse of women’s power; the circular arrangement of petals symbolises strength, while the pastel colours focus on femininity. I challenge the assumptions of people who think women are weak, when in reality, women are strong. When we as women proudly stand in a circle, we are exhibiting our collective strength. As a woman, where is your position in this circle? If you do not identify as a woman, then consider where the women in your life might be placed.
