'The Way Home' is a series of oil paintings that depict the view of the landscape on my everyday journey home. As I approach the end of my adolescence, I have come to realise the impermanency of my surrounding environment. In future, I will eventually live away from my family and the pathway that I follow will bring me increasingly further away from where I originate. My body of work is a visual representation of past memories and experiences that we sometimes take for granted and dismiss, as time passes us by.
