ARTIST STATEMENT

This artwork through a personal context represents the societal pressures and expectations I feel as a woman surrounding milestones, and the ages in which I am expected to have achieved them. This artwork has been framed through a contemporary context as it exploits digital technology for a sensory experience. This installation is intended to create a tense, uncomfortable and pressurised environment. This artwork also incorporates a mirrored surface where the audience are invited to interact with the installation and visibly witness how they react to this sensory stimulus.
