Since childhood, my hair has made me stand out. My incredibly tightly curled hair is a feature of my appearance that I’ve simultaneously despised and adored. In more recent years, I discovered that I could utilize my hair to communicate. I can express feelings, portray emotion and share my personality through the way I choose to wear it. I have become attached to this significant aspect of my appearance.
