‘Blended Displacements’ is a series of alternate paintings on acetate that depict how human selfishness and the displacement of objects impact the environment. The individual landscapes are illustrations of a diverse range of physical environments that combine to form a single, new environment. We take our environment for granted, we pollute, we ignore. We need to recognise the layers that make up our surroundings and start to read between the pages. Let’s rearrange it, shift from our comfort zone, and pay more attention.
