ARTIST STATEMENT

This work explores the community atmosphere of Eumundi make it, bake it, grow it Country Market. It is a colourful, musical and joyful occasion that contrast sharply with my dull lifeless small isolated country market place. This work attempts to visually replicate the visiting experience as I wonder with a friend around the various stalls.

ARTWORK PROCESS

Acrylic paint and permanent markers were used to create a joyful flowing figurative work. The various panels are connected by string.
