Beauty is ever-changing. We strive to keep up with the latest beauty advice to maintain tight, glowing skin. ‘HER’, stemmed from my collaboration with my grandmother. She believes that ageless beauty isn’t something we should be chasing. Inspired by French artist Brno Del Zou’s collaged portrait photographs, displaying highlighted areas of the face. The main features of the portraits of my grandmother, my mother and myself have been combined and modified. HER aims to persuade us to not be swayed by ‘beauty standard culture’, and to know that our unique, inner beauty is the culture we should be chasing!
