My mind continues to develop as a ‘palace’ of thinking. My body of work explores the plains of my mind. The work reflects the curiosity of daily life living with my ginger cat, Sam. Each painting reveals Sam, roaming freely through the irrationality of a surrealist realm. Sam’s playful yet intense discoveries are observed and then captured in paint to suit my personal narrative, or my mind palace. Sam’s character reflects my own keen curiosity towards daily life. Sam’s soft, investigative nature relates to my own personality. My experiments began in Covid lockdown.
