The audience is invited to decipher the symbolic interpretation, applying
their own viewpoint. “What a world” is a highly symbolic artwork embodying a distorted experience through emotions of isolation and loneliness. ARTWORK PROCESS
The artwork process included sketching out initial ideas and symbolic evidence that would be portrayed on the canvas, as well as appropriating and researching artists Gordon Bennett and Kindah Khalidy. A distorted perspective was chosen to allow the viewer to interpret their own viewpoint as, everyone experiences feelings of loneliness differently. The canvas successfully was conducted using mixed medias of acrylic paint, posca pen, lino print and modelling compound to create the idea of chaos and a manipulated perspective.
