“Bound by Death” features a unique take on the beauty and horrors of death. It focuses on materialising death, as well as the concept of time that surrounds death. The fox hide is the most striking part of the Installation. The fox is considered a cunning animal, however, with its body tightly wrapped in restraints it shows that even the slickest of animals can’t escape the cold hands of death. The installation is reliant on the viewers immediate reaction, this determines which side of death they are instinctively drawn to. The minimalistic imagery portrays the ‘hollowness’ of death.
