Out of the box Video
How neurosis can distort an individual’s perception of reality through various contexts.

ARTIST STATEMENT

“Out of the Box” is an exploration of the influence of the digital world on individuals’ mental health. ABOUT THE ARTIST

Eva Skinner

I am a keen young artist who is passionate about photography and digital art mediums. I am greatly inspired by the works of German photographer, Andreas Gursky, and his manipulation of digital photographs to create new and complex art pieces. I enjoy making art for myself, and find it helps me communicate personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences in new and interesting ways. Many of my works centre on themes of neurosis and the human condition, and I hope to de-stigmatise these concepts through my artworks.
