We’re delighted to announce that Future2 will continue its important work this year with applications now open for our 2021 grants program supporting young Australians facing social, physical or financial hardship.
Since 2007, the generosity of the FPA community has enabled us to commit over $1.3 million in grants to grassroots programs supporting young Australians.”
The type of grant offered by the Future2 Foundation is a one year grant up to AUD$10,000.
Applications to receive grant funding are invited from organisations that have programs to address the needs of disadvantaged young Australians aged between 12 and 25. They can cover any of the following areas.

Future2 is a charitable trust with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status conferred by the Australian Taxation Office. Future2 Foundation Ltd is a company limited by shares and guarantee that has the power to use the income and assets of the trust to the benefit of persons in ‘necessitous circumstances’. The Board has resolved to make grants to community not-for-profit organisations and charities that assist young Australians between 12 and 25 years of age who are in necessitous circumstances.
All grants are made at the sole discretion of the Future2 Foundation. The shortlist is based on its evaluation of each application, judging criteria and the availability of funds. Future2 reserves the right not to award any specific grant for any reason, or for no apparent reason, no matter how deserving the proposed project may be or how closely the applicant has followed the guidelines and procedures. Rejection of an application does not mean that it is not well regarded. Future2 cannot enter into correspondence with individual grant applicants about the relative merit of the application or the specific reasons for deciding not to award a grant.
