Paranoia
Sensitively painted and drained of colour the masculine figure struggles with the expectations and commitments of his busy life.

ARTIST STATEMENT

Overwhelmed and struggling with overthinking 'Paranoia' communicates the internalised feelings of not being able to see oneself clearly. The distortion of thoughts are signified by the symbolic eyes drawn on masculine figure's hands, and the absence of his facial features. Paper and spilt coffee litter the warped table in front of the figure's heavily grounded elbows, sensitive brush marks suggest the fragility of mind in this moment of self conscious distress.
