‘Journey to Self-Discovery’ explores identity and the Jungian philosophy of ‘Individuation’ through symbolism and visual storytelling. The idea behind Jung’s ‘Individuation’ is that identity is a discovery of oneself, a journey towards that revelation of your true self which resonates personally. The digital display of this work is intended to express key stages in my own journey. It is hoped that showing the creation process and four different colour versions of the artwork that transition into a quote at the end, will prompt introspection within the viewer.
