Round painting of acrylic on canvas 50cm

ARTIST STATEMENT

Inspired by change with the main themes of hope, reckoning, and self-destruction represented by human faces surrounded by symbolic imagery such as man-made objects and natural elements. Colour has been used to symbolise humanities response to our continuing environmental issues. The round canvas symbolises humanity, the world and our lack of unity in the face of a slow motion disaster that we continue to deny is happening.

ARTWORK PROCESS

This compositions is a more abstract composition with overlapping, merging imagery that communicates a social message to the audience, asking them to act now before it is too late.
