ARTIST STATEMENT
Are their connections unknown to us in the universe? Upon the investigation of the small intricate constellation like marks on a Quandong leaf from Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, I began to wonder about the hidden connections in our world. Are their connections we are oblivious too? The six patterned horizontal panels provide the audience with a sense of awe and wonder reminiscent of our skies star constellations when we take time to ponder and imagine.
ARTWORK PROCESS
Six patterned horizontal panels on Stonehenge paper using painting, drawing, stitchery and cut paper techniques. This provides connections for the panels and reflections on the wall.
